became too weak to move before it was captured by angry
villagers.
The mighty snake looks like something from a Hollywood
movie and was so greedy that it swallowed two goats and

Just when you think you've heard enough, another bigone
drops.
A man has pleaded with the court to terminate his marriage
because his wife allegedly demands payment of N500 ($1)
from him each time he approaches her for sxx.
Mr. Sunday Olaosebikan this week appealed to Igando
Customary Court in Lagos to end his seven-year-old
marriage to Mutiatu, for allegedly demanding N500 before
sxx.
“My wife always refuses me sxx until she collects N500.
‘’This, I am sure, is why she has not conceived after the
birth of our only child, who is six-year old now.
“I am tired of paying N500 per round before having s3x
with my wife, please dissolve the union.’’
According to the Vanguard, the complainant further prayed
the court that his wife, Mutiatu, always threatens to kill him.
“My wife is after my life, she stabs me with dangerous
weapons whenever we have misunderstanding.
“She once stabbed me with a broken bottle on my head and
I bled heavily which landed me in the hospital.
He alleged that Mutiatu “used our kitchen knife as pillow’’
and that she explained that her pastor instructed her to use
it against bad dreams.
“Many a times when I request for sex or during argument,
she brings the knife out threatening to stab me.
“She is just aggressive and violent in nature; she may kill
me if I continue with the marriage.
“Because of her violent nature, I ran away from the house
to avoid untimely death,” he said.
He said that his family evicted his wife from the house for
fear of unknown but that she came back begging and was
allowed in again.
“I accepted my wife back because I thought she had learnt
her lesson, but she refused to change, instead she is
getting worse day by day.”
“My wife does not obey my orders; she always tells me that
I cannot control her because we are age mate.”
The respondent was not in the court for her defence.
The President of the court, Mr Adegboyega Omilola,
therefore, ordered bailiff to serve her another summon to
appear in court and adjourned the case to Feb. 28.

According to reports reaching alabatvnews, about 30 armed
members of the underworld today besieged the Imo state
high court that is just a fence apart from the office of the
Imo state governor and took away their member, Henry
Chibueze (Vampire), an alleged notorious armed robber,
kidnapper and assassin while he was being tried in court for
various violent crimes.
The members of Vampire's (his nickname) gang stormed
the court at about 10:30am and shot sporadic the air,
collected the keys to the cuffs of their man, asked everyone
to remain calm and they drove away with the alleged
notorious criminal.
It was learnt that the criminals were not challenged by any
of the security bodies around the government house as they
carried out their will and went away.
No statement has been released by the state government
yet on the matter.

World Bank Group President, Jim Yong Kim, has announced
the appointment of Sandie Okoro as their Group Senior Vice
President and General Counsel. The daughter of a Biafran
father and a Trinidadian mother, Sandie who is a UK citizen
is currently the Global General Counsel for HSBC Global
Asset Management and the Deputy General Counsel of
HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
She is also a member of the Executive Management
Committee of HSBC Global Asset Management. Before she
joined HSBC, Sandie was the Global General Counsel at
Barings. She was also appointed to the Management Board
and Panel of Experts of The Hague-based Panel of
Recognized International Market Experts in Finance, which
assists with the settlement of international disputes of
complex financial transactions. There, Sandie played a
leadership role during the financial crisis particularly in
respect to the mitigation of counterparty risk exposure. With
several awards for her work and volunteer efforts, Sandie
was, in July 2016, named as one of the 100 Women to
Watch by the Female FTSE Board. Speaking about her
wealth of experience in managing legal and financial risks at
global financial institutions, the World Bank President noted
that Sandie would be a great asset for the Bank Group and
their Board.
As World Bank Group Senior Vice President and General
Counsel, Okoro will be the principal adviser and
spokesperson on all legal matters. She will also serve as the
legal adviser to the Board, management, the Inspection
Panel, and the CEO of the Global Environmental Facility
Program. Okoro will lead the World Bank’s Legal Vice
Presidency, which is responsible for all legal services
provided to internal and external.
